Music, singing, dancing, connecting people.
In 2013 Sevilla became my work floor for cultural activities. Organizing 300 milongas (the place where tango is danced) and later organizing socials (places where swing is danced), in Tango Garaje or in the open air. From 2017 we started combinations of activities: Cine Plus, where a theme movie is combined with singing or dancing. Singing activities belong as wel to this cultural scala. In 2022 the workshop “Taller Vocal Mix". started, to get beginners singing, or let singersstep out of their comfort zone and prepare them for singing solo or in small groups to perform on stage, in jam-sessions or CinePlus nights. In 2025 the worksop SONGS started, rehearsing Close Harmony songs of the great vocal groups, with the goal to perform.
HolidayJam is the name of a music week in France, in august 2025, in the Dordogne: “Encuentro” of the Netherlands, Sevilla and France; between singers and musicians; and between profs and amateurs. Cineplus consists of three combinations of cine and another activity. First a theme movie, then socializing by eating together and then, related to the movie: singing or dancing or even both! Taller Vocal Mix is all about singing, especially for preparing singing solo, improving timing, interpretation. Jazz, swing, pop. Preperation on participating in jam-sessions.

Cineplus consists of three combinations of cine and another activit.It starts with a special movie, then a socializing part by eating together and then an active part, depending on the type of movie: singing or dancing or even both: Party night! Last one was on last 12 april: Movie Tango and then milonga. Saturday 26 april: CineSwing. Movie: Saturday 31 may: CineCanto. Movie: Nina Simone
Taller VOCAL MIX is all about singing, especially for preparing singing solo, improving timing, interpretation. Emphasis on jazz, swing, pop. We do lots of excercises and songs. Fee: 3€. Every thursday from 8 pm till 9.15 pm. Casa Paul (front). Taller SONGS is for more advanced singers: rehearsing close harmony songs of the great vocal groups. Fee: 3€. Every monday from 8 pm till 9.15 pm. Casa Paul (front). Open air dancing Swing: May and June, every friday at Plaza de América, Park de María Luisa. From 9 pm till 11:30 pm. Free.
From december 2024 till march 2025 we´ll have a break in the program in Sevilla.
Meantime an international musical holiday sessionweek is being prepared: “HolidayJam”, shortly “HoliJam!”, from 26 august till 1 September 2025, in the Dordogne, France, with an extension of two days more in Toulouse: an interchange and meeting between Dutch singers and musicians and singers and musicians from Sevilla.
