Where are we going to put the focus?
- explanation of sheet music: Where necessary and useful: during notes, meaning of musical symbols, order and repetitions
- getting to know your voice as a singing voice, range, power.
- improvise a second voice, later try to sing a scat
- build harmony between each other, knowledge of the chords
- sing canons to quickly experience polyphony
- pay attention to the English in the songs: meaning and pronunciation
- learn to determine the tone and tempo when singing alone
- genre: blues, swing, pop, jazz, evergreens (great songs)
- work on a song to perform it, probably in Jamtonic,
